Volley Clinic and Doubles Course

I will be running the adult doubles camp again at the end of November, and a volley clinic in December. Please see info below:

Doubles Domination Course

This is a fun week with lots of content. Please see full itinerary below:

28th November - 2nd December 2022

The Doubles Domination course will teach you how to become a better doubles player using the tactics and court positioning the pros use. The course will consist of five keys topics that will take your doubles to the next level. These topics will be reinforced with real life examples from the pros that can be used at Club level to ensure you win more matches. The course will run over five consecutive days with a round robin tournament on the last day so you can put your learnings into action!

Day 1

9am meet for coffee and examples of today’s themes from pro players.
9:30am – 11am on court - Theme- one up/one back movement patterns.

Day 2

9am Coffee - recap of day one and examples of today’s themes from pro players.
9:30am – 11am on court – Theme – Successful returner tactics.

Day 3

9am Coffee - recap of day two and examples of today’s themes from pro players.
9:30am – 11am on court – Theme – Net players territory and movement patterns.

Day 4

9am Coffee - recap of day three and examples of today’s themes from pro players.
9:30am – 11am on court – Theme – Net players positions in the ‘wall’.

Day 5

9am Coffee - recap of day four and examples of today’s themes from the pro players.
9:30am – 11am on court – Theme – Dealing with lobs effectively.
12pm – 2pm Round robin tournament putting the weeks learnings in to practice.

( Please note to sign up for this course you must have tennis experience and be able to rally, serve and volley with some degree of confidence. Players should be green, purple, and blue according to the player standard guide on the tennis noticeboard ).

Please note that I can only take 12 players for the course and if you sign up you must attend every session or find an appropriate replacement.

Volley Clinic

Friday 9th December 11am till 1pm

The volley clinic will teach you how to use your current technique to improve your feeling, placement and power on the volley. It will also cover correct movement patterns and positioning to ensure you are more successful when you are at the net.
